Richard Rossignol is the founder and principal of RTR Consulting – The Human Resources Experts. Richard is a senior-level Human Resources executive with 20 years of experience, providing strategic and tactical direction for the Human Resources function. Richard excels in three key areas; People, Performance, and Profitability. Richard offers a proven track record of success in Human Resources Management (HRM), helping companies achieve start-up, high-growth and change initiatives, as well as managing legal compliance.
Prior to the founding of RTR Consulting, Richard served as Vice President Human Resources for First Look Studios and Ventura Distribution. Richard also spent 7 years leading the Human Resources function of Cerwin Vega as head of Human Resources. In a prior assignment, he led the Western region Human Resources for Freddie Mac. Richard began his Human Resources career with a division of Monogram Industries. That company was part of a merger and acquisition, and he was promoted to head of Human Resources for 2 divisions of The Edwards Group. In addition to his Human Resources leadership role in industry, Richard has a unique combination of Operations and Human Resources experience. He spent 17 years leading Human Resources in both union and non-union environments with experience in a variety of industries including entertainment, manufacturing, hi-tech manufacturing, professional services, financial services, as well as consulting with non-profits, higher education and civil engineering entities.
Richard has expertise in all functional areas of Human Resources. He has an outstanding track record for developing solid HR infrastructures which attract and retain top talent and performance systems, aligning employee performance with company objectives.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Professional Designation in Human Resources from the University of California at Los Angeles.
